£30,000 Raised Over Night

Our second XLP City Sleep Out raised £30,000 for our work with young people! A fantastic achievement by everyone involved and builds upon the great success of last year.

On average participants raised £500 each - enough to allow a young person to access the XLP Community bus project for two terms, or fund twenty sessions with a fully trained XLP mentor.

Michael Horsley, who led the event, said, “The second Sleep Out was an incredible success thanks to our wonderful supporters and those who sponsored them. We’d like to thank the staff of Redington, Workspace, Unite Group PLC, Hampshire Trust Bank and ING who got involved, as well as our other volunteers and supporters who braved the cold concrete to provide positive futures for the young people of London.”

There is still a chance to donate towards this year’s total or if you are interested in other fundraising opportunities then please contact Michael: michael.horsley@xlp.org.uk
