Gunz Down is an hour long interactive multimedia show which uses drama, music and video to explore the issues of weapons, gangs and making wise lifestyle choices. The show is followed up with practical
workshops. XLP works in partnership with hip-hop group GreenJade to produce the show, which has had major success in its three years of touring.

The follow-up to the Gunz Down show is the key to its success. In these sessions, many young people will begin to talk openly about self harm, gang involvement and bereavement, and sometimes even experiences such as having been a child soldier in a war-torn
country of origin. The workshops give space for young people to be honest about their situations, and find advice concerning choices and anger management.
