Camden is the place to be! It has a population of 227,500 and it stretches across 2175 hectares. In just one borough you can visit the opera in Covent Garden, experience Irish pubs and Bengali hospitality on the Kilburn High Road, stroll around Regent’s Park, visit London Zoo, and get some of the best views in London from Primrose Hill or Hampstead Heath. If you prefer the indoors you are spoiled for choice with the Bloomsbury and Round House theatres, Camden arts centre and the Freud Museum in Hampstead. MTV headquarters are also based in Camden Town. Of course who could forget the colour and clamour of Camden market, with an abundance of dyed hair, nose piercings and the prettiest wellington boots anywhere in London!

So what are we up to every week?
Camden Borough is new to XLP with several exciting new projects due to start very soon. At the moment the XLP bus comes to Regent’s Park estate every Friday night during term time click here for more details. This follows a very successful event ‘Regent’s Park’s Got Talent’ celebrating local talent on the estate.
XLP's Approach
We have close links with the police, council and many voluntary sector organisations and faith groups in Camden. We prefer to work in partnership with others so that we can be needs-driven in our work. If you would like to see XLP working in your area, we would be happy to hear from you.
