The Inside Track: Eden & XLP on tour

The Eden Network and XLP invite you to come and hear how God is working in the lives of young people from some of the most deprived estates in inner London. Stand with them and us in worship, prayer and in action.
Now the dust has settled on last year’s riots, many are asking, ‘what do we do now?’.

To find out, come to The Inside Track, running at three venues across London, 28th - 31st March. The three events are co-sponsored by XLP and the Eden Network. These award-winning organisations share decades of hands-on experience of working in the toughest communities, in London and around the nation.

Hosted by Patrick Regan (CEO and Founder of XLP) and Matt Wilson (Director of the Eden Network), The Inside Track will inspire you with stories of courage and compassion. The evenings will also dispel the many myths surrounding urban mission and propose a range of ways that people can be effective agents for change in the lives of young people.

Patrick Regan is the founder and CEO of the charity XLP, which fights poverty, supports education and helps young people in the London area. He recently won the Mayor of London’s peace award, speaks regularly at Soul Survivor and Spring Harvest, and is a frequent guest on radio and TV programmes. He is also an Ambassador for Compassion.
“The things we do in loving and caring for others may not feel powerful, dramatic, or spectacular or revolutionary but there is great power in doing things not for our own need for recognition, but through a love for God and people and a passion to see God’s kingdom come. This is the hope of the Gospel of Jesus.” Patrick Regan

Matt Wilson is the National Director of the Eden Network, an innovative youth and community organisation with teams based in some of England’s most deprived urban neighbourhoods.
“There’s a very real and present danger that in seeking to find answers to the problems our nation faces we might instead find ourselves in the paralysis of analysis. We need to get beyond the contemporary trend towards slacktivism by rolling up our sleeves and getting our hands dirty. Now is the time to get involved.” Matt Wilson
