Got Some Time On Your Hands?

If you can help by giving your time to support XLP's work then please contact us. Volunteers can help with a wide range of jobs ranging from helping in schools with reading support (subject to CPA checks), particularly if you are fluent in another language, to helping us with general admin tasks.

Some of the things we could do with help on at the moment are:

  • Event Stewarding
  • Reading Support (particularly foreign language skills)
  • Lunch club workers
  • Arts Trainers (dance, music, rap, etc)
  • Bus workers
  • Video facilities/editors (for projects with the kids)
  • IT training / support

Obviously it will be easier for you to help out if you are near our offices in South London, but don't let that dissuade you. We have had help for as little as a day from all over the world.

Note: all volunteers will be supervised and consistent volunteers will be asked to obtain a Criminal Records Bureau Enhanced Disclosure check.
