Training

The eXperience courses uses both in-house teachers such as Patrick Regan, together with a network of speakers who are affiliated to XLP including Mike Pilavachi, Tim Hughes and Ali MacInnes. The teaching sessions are scheduled twice weekly: Theology on Mondays and Youthwork on Fridays.

Theology

Our theology course is designed to both broaden and deepen your understanding of your faith. Topics that are studied include: Kingdom of God, Christology, Holy Spirit, Christian Life-style, Prayer and Biblical studies that will review both Old and New Testaments, and include more detailed appreciation of the Gospels, the Letters, and Daniel and Revelation! We appreciate that our students will come from a wide variety of denominational backgrounds, and look to reflect this in our course content.

Youthwork

Our youthwork course is intended to equip and empower you to communicate with more than words. Topics that are studied include: Communication, Understanding Black Culture, Conflict Resolution, Answering Difficult Questions, Other faiths (e.g. Islam), the Media, Key Issues (e.g. Drugs, Violence, Teenage Pregnancy, Abortion, HIV/AIDS, Poverty, Sexuality), and Christians and Politics.
