Support

Whilst on the eXperience training scheme you will have various people supporting you and with whom you can discuss any issues or concerns that arise during the course. Key contact points are:

• Borough Leader and the Head of the eXperience course
  Students will work with their Borough Leaders on a daily basis; they will get to know them very well. These Borough Leaders report to the Head of the eXperience course who is a qualified teacher and nurse, and has seen and heard just about everything!
  
  
• Borough Pastoral Team
  XLP has an experienced pastoral oversight team whose member are assigned to each of the borough teams. You will meet with them as part of your course and can discuss any pastoral issues or concerns with them. The Borough Pastoral Team liaise with placement church leaders regarding the welfare of their respective students.
  
  
• Placement Church Leader
  Each student is placed within a church which will have its own pastoral workers who you can get to know.
  
  
• Other Borough Team Members
  Each student is part of a team and you will get to know, and mutually support, one another over the year.
