Homework/ After Schools
XLP hosts a number of after-schools clubs that support the children and young people on their local estate by providing homework support and a safe place to hang out after school.
For instance, in 2002 XLP started a homework club on the Woolwich Common Estate. It provides a space for local children and young people to do homework without distraction and provide 1-to-1 help when they are struggling. This project has since grown and we now have clubs across all our boroughs, some of them delivered on the XL-R8 bus project.
These clubs are also designed to provide a safe, fun place for the local children and young people; there are all sorts of games and creative activities going - check them out and see.
