Southwark

Southwark is home to approximately 250,000 people with over 100 mother tongue languages spoken, from the lovely Southbank, through gritty parts of Bermondsey, to the meat sellers in Peckham with reggae blaring out of the stereo from the shop next door, the serenity of Dulwich Park, congestion problems in Camberwell all make up the amazing and vibrant borough of Southwark.

It is a real privilege to work with some of the 62,000 young people from all different parts of the world, helping them with reading, teaching them about making wise lifestyle choices, encourage them in the performing arts, working in their local communities and empower them to make the most of life.
