Experience Takeover

This week we've handed over control of our social media accounts to our Experience Students, so they can share what it's like to spend a year with XLP. If you want more details of the year, click here or have a read of the blogs they've written:

Dougie's Monday: "A day of studying different aspects of youth work, spending time with amazing friends, as well as a plenty of social events, make it one of the best days of the week."

Becky's Tuesday: "Going back into school has pushed me out of my comfort zone in ways I didn’t expect. Taking on the XLP Experience Year has taught me so much already."

Lizzie's Wednesday: "Being there, week in, week out, is such a great way to build relationships with the young people who attend the project, showing them that there are people out there who really care."

Molly's Thursday: "It’s amazing to be able to follow a journey with a young person to get to know them, learn what they like and don’t like, what they aspire to, what they struggle with and support, laugh and chat with them along the way. Everyone loves the bus!"

Hannah's Friday: "Best for last! My final Friday project is on the bus. From the outside it looks like Banksy-meets-a-bus. Inside it contains everything that was never supposed to be on a bus: a kitchen, beauty salon, PlayStation, Wii, air hockey, board games and card games. The young people love it!"

Spaces for next year are now open to applications, so if you are interested find out more!
