The XLP Team
Patrick Regan is the founder and Chief Executive of XLP - a charity which aims to meet the social, educational and behavioural needs of young people. Working in South East London, XLP take lessons, run lunch and after school clubs, take an activity bus to inner-city estates, run Arts Showcase events and take tours like 'Gunz Down' to schools. Patrick has also led many mission trips to places like Ghana, South East Asia, St Vincent's and Guyana.

Mike Coates is the training manager for XLP. He co-ordinates the eXperience year out course and looks after the students. Mike has been a local church leader for 17 years, and has been involved with XLP from the very beggining. He is married to Sarah and has two children. Mike's favourite flavour ice-cream is double chocolate.
Tim Powell is the marketing and communications manager at XLP. Tim is himself a graduate of the eXperience training scheme and has been with XLP since 2003. He is a enthusiastic drummer, likes tropical fish, is married to Ruth and has a little boy.
Charlotte Hansen is the Southwark Borough Leader (“the Queen of Southwark”) and coordinates all the schools and community work in Southwark. She is also a graduate of the eXperience training scheme and has been with XLP since 2001.
Dan Brown is the Greenwich/Bexley Borough Leader and coordinates all the schools and community work in Greenwich and in Bexley. Again, Dan is a graduate of the eXperience training scheme and has been with XLP since 2005. Dan is a DJ and also a drummer.
Nicola Cross is the Tower Hamlets Borough Leader and coordinates all the schools and community work in Tower Hamlets. XLP began work in this borough during 2006 and Nicola is developing this work in collaboration with her local church.
Tom Booker is the Newham Borough Leader and coordinates all the schools and community work in Newham. XLP began work in this borough during 2006 and Tom is developing this work in collaboration with the Transform Newham group.
Kerry Ridge is the Lewisham Borough Leader. She leads a team of gap year students and coordinates all the schools and community work in Lewisham. Kerry spent two years as an eXperience student before taking on the role of team leader. She is married to Dan, drives a vauxhall and supports Tottenham.
Matt Plested is the XLP bus (the XL-R8 project) project manager. Matt has experience as a youth worker as well has being a bus enthusiast!
Leo Pswarayi is the Arts Showcase Coordinator and coordinates all the activities related to the Arts Showcase events. Leo has trained with Oasis and has a diploma in Youth Work and in Media, Journalism and Marketing. Leo has been with XLP since 2004.
Phil Wood is the Finance, HR and Legal Manager and also Company Secretary. Phil is a qualified teacher and has been with XLP since 2002.
Maggie Morris spends her time supporting the teachers and parents of pupils that XLP is engaged with. She has four children of her own, and has been a part of the XLP team since 1996.
Emma Thomas is Patrick's PA, and is in her third year at XLP after completing two years of the eXperience course. Emma drinks starbucks and wears Ugg boots!
Simon Marchant supports Patrick Regan in strategic planning and operations. He has experience in public, private and voluntary sector organisations. He is married to Alison and has two children.
